An urban jungle! The military have only recently given access to the rugged Son Tra peninsula, otherwise known as Monkey Mountain. The jungle-clad mountain rises straight out of Danang and the South China Sea to 696m, and protects the city’s harbour. During the war, the Americans had a radar base at the top of the peninsula, and the domes can still be seen today. The narrow road snakes around the mountain, offering grand views of the sea, China Beach, Danang, the
Hai Van pass and the Truong Son range to the west. A new eco-tourism site to the north-east provides shelter for the endangered red-shanked douc langur. (Approx. 120km)

Price:
70 USD per rider on Minsk Motorbike or 60 USD per rider on scooter.
If there are two of you, it's only $30 for the pillion passenger.
If you can't ride yourself and need a driver it is 75 USD per person.
