Prao Hill Tribe Loop (9am - 5pm, 1 night / 2 days) Get away from Hoi An for a night and discover a completely different side of Vietnam.
We drive to the remote mountain village of Prao, stopping along the way at historic Cham towers and monuments from the French Indochina war. After morning tea, we ascend the highlands through Co Tu minority towns, stopping for a picnic lunch and swimming in mountain streams. We dine at a local restaurant which is both a unique culinary and cultural experience in itself.
On day two, we drive part of the original Ho Chi Minh Trail, stopping for a picnic lunch at a mountain waterfall before heading back to the Thu Bon river. We arrive in Hoi An at 5pm, following our unique country laneway route into town and in time for the sunset.

After a local breakfast, we ride along the historic Ho Chi Minh Highway through rainforests and over spectacular mountain passes. Stopping for a picnic lunch at a spectacular mountain waterfall, you can cool off with a swim before we continue on our journey. We travel through the An Shau Valley, famous throughout the American War, before descending to Hue City as the sun sets over the Perfume River. (Approx. 280km)
